Michael Estabrook

Peter Higgs, Physicist

The 2013 Nobel Prize for Physics Higgs
along with François Englert:
“for the theoretical discovery of a mechanism
that contributes to our understanding of the origin
of mass of subatomic particles, and which recently
was confirmed through the discovery of the predicted
fundamental particle”

My Lord, My Sweet Lord

So now what? What else is there? Is physics all done?
Don’t be silly now it’s on to proving
the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model
by finding sparticles
(no, not Spartacus, pay attention)
after all, there is no end to infinity.

Michael Estabrook is retired now working around the yard and writing more poems or trying to anyhow. Noticed two Cooper’s hawks staked out in his yard, or above it, explains the disappearing chipmunks.
